...Bride Loves Groom...

Wouldn't this be the cutest save the date ever? Just add a little snippet at the bottom of the card stating the wedding date & location. That's all, nothing fancy and nothing too over the top. Just pretty darn adorable.

Of course, if you just HAD to dress up the save the date a little bit you could always craft one of these lovely fabric sleeves to slip your pretty paper into. Just think of all the beautiful fabric patterns {correlating with your wedding colors, of course} that you could incorporate! Oh, and if you do this...could you send one to Penned & Pretty?! We would love to see the beautiful results!

...Wrap-Around Labels...

The first time I saw the wrap around envelope label, I was in love. The simplicity of the design, the ease of customizability, and the sheer genius of it all was almost too much to handle.
This picture, found at snippet & ink, has to be one of my all time favorite examples of the wrap around envelope label. I love the bold colors, the creative stamps and of course the pretty writing.!

You can find a free wrap-around label template here or purchase pre-made labels here {shortly}.

...One Fine Day...

Chewing the Cud has the cutest wedding invitations. The "Lovebirds Story" is one of my favorites.
Don't you just adore the little booklet invitation?! It unfolds to "reveal the story of two lovebirds being united." You'll be just as excited for your guests to receive it as you will be to admire it with your daughter when she lovingly discovers it twenty-five years from now while immersing herself in all of the keepsakes from your wedding.

...The Bus...

Your wedding is all about the details. But the most important ones often get overlooked.
How you met.
How you fell in love.
How he proposed.
Let your guests in on the details that they really want to know.
My heart did a little pitter pattered when I saw this engagement announcement on bird and banner. Give your guests the same same pitter patter experience when you send them something just as adorable and personable.

...Fabric Escort Cards...

From the moment I laid eyes on this escort card board, as seen on Ritzy Bee, I was in love. With it's clean details, pretty fabric and simplistic design it's just the perfect detail to prop on a beautiful easel and display at your wedding reception.

...Goin' to the Chapel...

This little darling announcement comes from Ink Umbrella. When you were a little girl, didn't you just dream of a quaint and personal ceremony in front of the perfect altar?

...Sihouette Programs...

I came across these programs on once wed from the wedding of KC & Sara. Have you ever seen a more adorable program!? The bride designed & letter pressed the booklets with a purple tone-on-tone faux bois cover. The bride & groom's name & silhouettes in the knot of the wood on the front cover. My favorite detail? The simple white string that binds the program together. The inside cover of the program replicated the wedding invitation. It is perfect in every way.
And as if the silhouettes in the knot of the wood weren't enough, feast your eyes on the beautiful bicycle {and pretty calligraphy}!

...{Pretty} Praise...

The following tidbits of praise were taken directly from {unsolicited} e-mails received from my clients after they received their penned & pretty products. I'll only post a few, so as not to overwhelm you.

"...just wanted to quickly tell you a story. I sent my invites out last week and I had my bridal shower yesterday. Everyone was raving about the calligraphy on the envelopes. People couldn't stop talking about how great they looked. Just wanted to pass the compliments along to you!"
Erin

"I just wanted to let you know that we got lots of great feedback on our wedding invites. People really loved your handwriting and felt (as we did) like the "non-calligraphy" calligraphy was just so US. Thank you so very much."

We are thrilled, excited and can not wait to have them in our little hands. To work with you was such a joy! Thank you (sorry for repeating it, but there is just no better way to say it)."
Severine

"Oh my gosh!! My FMIL got them on Saturday (which worked out awesomely because we were there visiting) and we even started putting our invitations together! Everyone was very pleased, especially me :) Thank you SO much for squeezing us in! We couldn't be happier with our beautiful envelopes!"

...{Pretty} Author...

Let's have a little chat, shall we?!

Hi friends! My name is Jessica Lynn and I'm the owner of this little calligraphy shop.
I started my first blog, tying the knot in 2007 as a source of planning and inspiration for our September 2008 wedding. That blog was my pride and joy for so long and I continue to blog on it to this day {every once in a while}. During the cold winter of 2009, without any more wedding planning to do, I decided to open up shop doing something I have always loved....addressing envelopes.

Penned & Pretty has become quite the success over the past few years. I would love for you to become my next client!

If you're in need of someone to address your wedding invitation envelopes, escort or place cards, or any paper good please feel free to contact me! I would love to chit chat with you over anything Penned & Pretty!
You can contact me at:

...{Pretty} Availability...

Penned & Pretty is quite the success, thanks to all of you! I am currently reserving space on my calendar for orders scheduled for completion in August 2012 and following. Please contact me now to reserve a spot on my little calendar before it fills up!

Please note, if you are booking more than 3 months before your wedding, a $25 non-refundable deposit may be required. The amount will be applied toward your order and deducted from your final invoice.

...{Pretty} Styles...

Penned & Pretty is currently offering three seperate and distinct styles for you to choose from. Go ahead, try to pick your favorite. Personally, I love them all.

...Pretty Perfect....
The name of this style says it all. It's pretty and perfect. Short and sweet.
{p.s. the name of the state can be either spelled out or abbreviated with any style.}

...Pretty Adorable...
How else can you possibly describe this style!? Lower case letters are darling, soft and adorable which make them a perfect choice to compliment your wedding invitation.
....Pretty Whimsy....This style is for the bride that wants her invitations and envelopes to stand out from the 20 others her guests will be receiving in the mail when summer comes. Pretty lettering with a touch of whimsy flare, this envelope is as fun to receive as it is to pen.
